Folk College is right around the corner, and it is on Memorial Day weekend at Juniata College. Two outstanding concerts are on tap for Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, at 7 pm at Halbritter Center on the campus. Tickets are available at the door.
At the Huntingdon County Arts Center, we offer seven different weeks of summer art camp for kids, for 9- to 12-year-olds. ![]()

The classes are from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with a different theme each week. The cost for each weekly session is $90. All classes will be taught by experienced art teachers with clearances. ![]()

For the third year, the Arts Council will hold a Summer Art Camp for Kids at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. There will be separate weekly sessions for 5- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds, both from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday.![]()

Only three weeks away! Tickets include snacks from Standing Stone Coffee Company (hummus, artichoke dip, veggie platter, fruit and cheese platter, and pastries), mineral water and soft drinks. A cash bar will sell wine, beer, and cocktails for $5 all night. And there will be valuable door prizes from local merchants. Tickets are $35 and are on sale at the Arts Center or at huntingdoncountryarts.com. We usually sell out, so don't miss it!
